Private by design.

Your model data is processed locally in your browser. DROPZONED does not upload your models to a server.

Model files and textures

Model files, companion buffers and textures are read using browser file APIs and temporary local Blob URLs. Rendering happens on your device. External resource links authored into imported models are blocked; supply the referenced files locally.

The app does not save model content in browser local storage or send it to a model database. Replacing a model releases the viewer's previous scene resources; closing the tab ends its current session. The original files on your computer remain under your control.

What is saved in your browser?

The sound-effects preference (on or muted) is saved in local storage so your choice is remembered on this device. It contains no model content. Browser settings let you clear this site storage.

PNG screenshots are created locally and downloaded only when you use Snapshot. Your browser chooses where those downloads are saved.

Website requests and hosting

Vercel hosts the website. Opening it downloads its HTML, JavaScript, styles, fonts, artwork and decoder files. These ordinary hosting requests can expose your IP address, requested URLs, browser information and request times to the hosting provider.

Model contents are not part of those requests. Fonts and decoders are hosted with DROPZONED. The application does not include third-party advertising scripts or analytics trackers. Hosting-level logs and security controls are separate from local model processing.

Permissions and security

The viewer does not need your camera, microphone, location or payment information. Browser policies restrict script sources, network connections, frames and sensitive device permissions. WebAssembly and local workers are used to decode supported compressed 3D assets.

Publisher and external links

DROPZONED is published by Mykita. External websites have their own privacy practices. This page describes the current application; it does not set a retention period for Vercel's operational logs.
